Seismic Isolation Curbs

Cambridgeport Seismic Vibration Isolation Curbs demonstrate the next generation in isolation system design and engineering. Designed to isolate packaged rooftop equipment from the roof structure, Cambridgeport isolation curbs are quick to install, being fully assembled and do not interfere with your rooftop unit components. Cambridgeport isolation curbs will reduce transmitted vibration caused by turbulent airflow as well as compressor, equipment and fan vibration.

Cambridgeport Isolation Curbs have a factory installed continuous EPDM weather seal. This weather seal is also UV and ozone resistant. The isolation curb is constructed of heavy gauged galvanized steel for outdoor durability. The integrated wind and vertical restraints are also factory installed.
Springs
1”/25MM (2”/51 MM) deflection, free-standing, un-housed, laterally stable, steel springs. Lateral stiffness is 1.0 times the rated vertical stiffness and is designed for 50% over load to solid. Springs are color coded to indicate load capacity.
Rails
Top and bottom members connected by spring isolators and a continuous EPDM weather seal. The seal is integrated into the top rail at the factory. The weather strip is sealed along the bottom with a field installed fascia strip.
Restraints
Horizontal restraints are included to resist lateral loads created by wind, and are made of stainless steel. Vertical restraints are also included to resist uplifting and overturning.
